Senior Molecular Biologist

CGI is seeking an experienced molecular biologist to assist in our development of rapid, inexpensive, complete genome sequencing technology. The candidate will lead projects in the preparation of genomic libraries for sequencing, genomic DNA preparation, development of probe libraries, etc. Extensive experience in DNA engineering; with the design and optimization of common enzymatic processes such as ligation, endonuclease cleavage, polymerase extension, adenylation, as well as hybridization, and sequencing technologies is required. The candidate should have experience working in cross-functional teams; ideally in the development of a platform for biological detection. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in biology or related field, and 5-10 years of industrial experience in a closely related area.
