Building a Functional Atlas of Macaque Brain Using Stereo-seq

Understanding the spatial organization of cell types in the brain is crucial for unraveling its complex functional and anatomical architecture.
Dr. Stephanie Seeman will present a spatial transcriptomic atlas of a macaque hemisphere using the Stereo-seq platform combined with structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and histological staining.
Together, these data offer insight into the spatial distribution of diverse cell types and their relationship to anatomical and functional boundaries.
